UFALEYNICKEL DEMOLITION: 800,000 CUBIC METERS OVER 6 MONTHS

Reforma Group demolished a plant of Ufaleynickel (Verkhniy Ufaley, Chelyabinsk Oblast) in 2020 to prepare the industrial site for construction of a new Zinc Electrolysis Plant. More than 100 buildings and structures with a total volume of 800,000 cubic meters were torn down and removed over 6 months. 14 trucks and up to 20 high-tech construction machines were involved in 24/7 operations.

bTwo reinforced concrete smokestacks (100 m and 150 m tall) and crane trestle structures (50 m tall) with gas treatment units were demolished with specialized blasting operations. Around 180,000 cubic meters of construction waste (reinforced concrete, concrete, and brick debris) was moved to a disposal landfill
